Today I write to you from the land of the rising sun. Here in Japan I have seen many unique and interesting things and, of course, I will have many What Would Jolina Do moments to share with you once I get back to Portland, OR. So far Abra has reveal the beauty of Japan by taking me on many field trips while incluing her own personal commentary. Her historicallly accurrate tales and humorous anecdotes bring me into this Asian world and make me feel connected to the people and places of this land. I wish I had more time for a full entry, but I am preparing for my trip to Hong Kong. There I am expecting to 1) connect with my HK roots and discover a little about my ancestory and myself; 2) buy a jade ring; and 3) eat dim sum to a point of sickness. This is Kwong signing out for now.
Dont miss the next entry from What Would Jolina Do?!

I apologize for not updating the site for a while. I have been out of town at a Society of Research Administrators conference in Spokane, WA with my co-workers. As boring as that sounds, the conference and the city were pretty interesting. I gained a lot of valuable information and am thinking about my future as a Research Administrator. So, just to let you know, after I finish up my final paper for my grad course I will be posting answers to the "What Would Jolina Do?" questions I received from audience members.
So stay tuned...it's coming...very soon!

As you may have noticed I have been having major writer’s block lately. And from the limited amount of comments I have received on this site it looks as though you, the readers, are also experiencing writer’s block. So I decided to sit down at lunch today and really think about a funny, comical “What Would Jolina Do?” situation. Instead, I could only draft deep, insightful commentaries on human interaction, love, the psyche of my inner child and this journey called life. However, that would probably bore you so I have decided to open “What Would Jolina Do?” to the audience. For the next week, please briefly email (jojo_kwong@yahoo.com) or post in the comments section of the site YOUR funny situations and off-beat experiences that have left you wondering “What Would Jolina Have Done in This Odd Situation?” I will pick the top three audience suggestions and use my decision-making skills to reply. They don’t have to be actual situations that you have experienced—they can be similar to advice column letters or even questions of moral reasoning, major life decisions you are pondering at this time, etc. It’s wide open! Have fun and I am hoping that I will be able to post my first entry from your suggestions on Friday, March 5 or Saturday, March 6.
OH and did I mention that the readers who contribute the top three audience suggestions receive a free coffee/soy latte/tea/refreshment!!!! REAL PRIZES this TIME! FROM A REAL PLACE!!! (My friend Nicole just opened a coffee shop and I would really like to promote TWIN PARADOX in SELLWOOD as much as possible).
**Just to let you know, if you do ask for my personal advice it is not a professional response. Even though I was a psychology major, I am not able to make clinical recommendations. So please do not change your world view because of how I respond, even though I am sure I will be that persuasive and insightful.
Looking forward to hearing from YOU!
